Guide Meeting Note 20-5-19

This is a brief note on my meeting with my mentor on 20-05-2019. In the more than hour long discussion, many significant aspects of my research work were discussed. The discussion primarily revolved around the (1) content, movement, and focus of my thesis and (2) the content and structure of my compre report. The next meeting has been tentatively fixed for 3-6-19 and the work for the interim period suggested.

A significant portion of the meeting was spent discussing my thesis.The themes and motifs of my thesis have been apparent for sometime now, however, a concrete narrative had not been worked out. A significant outcome of this meeting was the working out of the threads of my research narrative. Both the methodological and theoretical aspects of the proposed thesis were thrashed out. Key texts and thinkers were identified and the research narrative elucidated.

The second significant point of discussion was the writing of the compre report. My doubts regarding the content and structure of the compre report were clarified. The task assigned to me to be completed before the next meeting is the preparation of the coursework bibliography. On the thesis front, I have been asked to identify the foundational texts of the two pivotal thinkers determined critical for my research.
